Your Guide to the Perfect Sashimi Experience:

At Soldeli, we take great pride in delivering the finest sashimi grade seafood to your doorstep. To help you enjoy the most delicate texture and ensure every bite is as safe as it is delicious, we have put together some helpful tips for you.

1. When Your Order Arrives
* A Quick Quality Check: We recommend a quick peek to ensure your items have arrived perfectly frozen or chilled.
* Keeping it fresh: Please store frozen items into your freezer (-18°C or below) or chilled items into the fridge (0°C to 4°C) as soon as possible.
* Labelling: You can find the Use By Date and Production Date conveniently located on our white Soldeli label or the original factory packaging. This helps you plan the perfect time for your feast!

2. Defrosting
* We are highly recommended this method :For the best flavour and a fantastic texture, we suggest placing the vacuum sealed fish in your refrigerator for 12–24 hours. This method ensures optimal texture and flavour preservation.
* A Little Reminder: To keep your sashimi safe and succulent, please avoid thawing it at room temperature or in warm water.

3. Preparing Your Meals
* Handling: A quick hand wash and ensuring your chopping board and knives are clean will keep everything fresh.
* Space: If possible, use a separate chopping board just for your sashimi to keep flavours pure and avoid any contact with other raw foods.
* Finishing : After opening, a gentle pat dry with a clean paper towel will remove any excess moisture, making your fish much easier to slice.

4. Serving
* For the best quality, we recommend consuming the product immediately after it has fully defrosted.

* To maintain the best quality, we recommend keeping the sashimi chilled on a cold plate or a bed of ice while serving.
* Please do not refreeze your sashimi once it has thawed.

5. Safety and allergen notes
* In accordance with NHS guidance, raw seafood may not be suitable for pregnant women, young children, the elderly, or individuals with weakened immune systems.
* Please refer to the product label for specific allergen information (e.g., fish, crustaceans, or molluscs).
